What are Metamon?

Metamon are unique alien beings scattered across strange worlds in the galaxy. Some Metamon are common, some are extremely rare. All have legendary powers over the elements. They are the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. With the help of your Gauntlet, you are able to capture, evolve and take the form of these creatures to use their fascinating abilities.

Metamon Types and Abilities

As of today, Humans have identified several types of known Elemental Metamon: Fire, Water, Plant, Electric, Flying, Telekinetic, Magma and Earth. But as humans keep expanding their presence across the galaxy, they continue to unravel new exciting Metamon that defy the bounds of reality. Metamon leverage the elements to summon their abilities.

Metamon Populations

Some Metamon are common across the planets. Some are rare, hidden, and endangered. Some are ancient, legendary beings that only a few will ever encounter. Every Metamon has a different population-level, determining its rarity. These population levels determine the available supply of these Metamon for capture by Humans.

How to Capture a Metamon?

Metamon can be captured/earned through in-game Loot and challenges in the Metamon Battle Royale Game. They will also be available to earn through the Future Games (Metamon Raid and Open World MMORPG). You can also capture a Metamon by purchasing a Booster Pack. Metamon will also be available to earn through Faction Rewards.

Metamon Evolution

Using a Gauntlet, normal Metamon found in the wild (Gen 1s) can be evolved to higher forms that are significantly more powerful (Gen 2 and beyond). A Metamon Evolution works by combining a Metamon with a unique recipe of items (Earned in game Loot or through Booster Packs) as well as a duplicate of that Metamon. When an Evolution is activated, all the items and Metamons are combined and evolved into the next generation Metamon. The items and previous generation Metamon NFTs are burned and the player's wallet is awarded a new NFT. While this is the most direct way of evolving a Metamon, it is still possible to encounter higher Gen Metamon in the wild.

Metamon Economics

Gen 1 Metamon supply is capped to the total population of this Metamon in the Wild. When Metamon are evolved, the total supply of the Gen 1 decreases. The total supply of subsequent generations (Gen 2 and onwards) will always be half the population of the previous generation. These mechanisms enables for rarity across Metamon and for all players.

The Metadex

The Metadex will keep track of all the Metamon in existence. It will be hosted both in the game, on our website and on the MTVRS app.
